Like a journey into the traditional values of the local culture, the mythical Mekhala dance of Cambodia left a distinct impression on us with its movements of the hands and feet. The fluid, graceful curves of the lines reflect the dancer's hand gestures, while the angular forms convey the rhythmic yet deliberate nature of the movements.
The soft curves of the M.I.C.E building's roof promise to harmonize with the moonlight, creating a beautiful and mystical dance.
The traditional stilt house form is also integrated into the M.I.C.E massing and the roof system of the canal-side walkway, aiming to create an atmosphere of local identity through a modern lens, continuing the story of the celestial dance praying for favorable weather and prosperity.
